Notice of Mine Reclamation Plan (Wellton Material Source, Yuma County)
In accordance with A.R.S. § 27-1271(B)(13), this serves as public disclosure that a Mine Reclamation and Closure Plan has been filed with the Arizona State Mine Inspector for the Wellton Material Source. Operated by Gutierrez Canales Engineering, P.C., the project is located at 34488 E. County 5th Street in Yuma County, approximately 8 miles northeast of the community of Wellton
The site is situated within the SW ¼ of Section 6 in Township 8 South, Range 17 West, with primary access provided via E. County 5th Street and Canal Road
The proposed plan covers a total project area of 156 acres with a final disturbance area of approximately 103.3 acres and outlines the professional stabilization and closure of the site to open space once mining operations conclude
